According to the Regulation on the Ombudsman (hereinafter – the “Regulation”) of First Wind Power Station LLP (hereinafter – the “Partnership”), the Ombudsman is a person appointed by the Supervisory Board of the Partnership, whose role is to provide advice to employees of the Partnership who contact them and to assist in resolving labor disputes, conflicts, and problematic issues of a social and labor nature, as well as in ensuring compliance with the principles of business ethics by the employees of the Partnership.
In accordance with the Regulation, the main tasks of the Ombudsman are to ensure compliance by employees and officials of the Partnership with the Partnership’s Code of Business Ethics and to clarify its provisions, to assist employees and officials of the Partnership in preventing and resolving corporate conflicts and conflicts of interest, and to assist employees and officials of the Partnership in reporting unlawful actions within the Partnership. At the same time, according to the Regulation, the Ombudsman is obliged to ensure the anonymity of any employee or official who submits an appeal regarding violations of the provisions of the Code of Business Ethics, the norms of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the internal documents of the Partnership.
